Scott Lendrum

CEO & Director

Mr. Lendrum joined Giga Metals in 2025 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Giga, he spent 20 years in investment banking, focused almost exclusively on the global mining and metals industry. Most recently, Mr. Lendrum was a senior investment banker with Paradigm Capital in Toronto, managing client relationships and executing transactions both in mergers and acquisitions as well as equity capital markets. Before joining Paradigm, he worked at Red Cloud Securities in a similar capacity.

Mr. Lendrum provides Giga with a broad global network across the mining industry having spent 3 years with the Mining M&A team in the Americas for Standard Chartered Bank as well as 8 years at BNP Paribas in Toronto and New York covering the North American mining industry with a focus on capital markets and M&A transactions for some of the world’s largest mining groups.

Mr. Lendrum holds an H.B.A in Economics from the University of Toronto and obtained his CFA charter in 2011.

Mark Jarvis

President & Director

Mr. Jarvis has more than 40 years of experience in exploration and development of mineral resources, both in oil and gas and metals. After a career in financing exploration projects as a stockbroker, Mr. Jarvis moved to the corporate side of the business in 1996. He joined the Board of Ultra Petroleum, which at the time was a small oil and gas exploration and development company with a large, unconventional gas deposit. As Director responsible for Corporate Finance, he raised the equity capital necessary to prove the concept and to establish enough production to finance further growth with debt. Ultra Petroleum grew from an exploration play to 3 TCF of proven gas reserves.

Mr. Jarvis became CEO of Giga Metals Corporation‘s predecessor company in January 2004. During his tenure, the company has drilled off a giant nickel/cobalt deposit, worked out a reliable metallurgical circuit, and published a Pre-Feasibility Study.

Martin Vydra

Strategic Advisor

Martin Vydra joined Giga in 2018 as a director and in 2019 as President following a 30-year career with Sherritt International where he held senior executive positions in Technology, Marketing and Operations. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Alberta and is a widely recognized expert in nickel and cobalt extraction, processing and refining. Mr. Vydra has worked across four continents and at over 20 metallurgical operations. In June 2025 Martin stepped down as Director and President of Giga but remains an advisor to the CEO and the Board.

Matt Anderson, CPA, CA

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Anderson completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy at McGill University in Montreal. He earned his CPA, CA accreditation in 2008 after which he began providing accounting and CFO services to junior public companies primarily involved in the natural resource sector. He has extensive experience in financial and accounting related functions.

Holly Millar

Head of External Relations & Corporate Secretary

Ms. Millar joined Giga in 2021 and has over 14 years of experience in communications and marketing. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in Montreal. Ms. Millar has experience working in a wide variety of industries in both Vancouver and Europe. Holly believes that Giga Metals is going to be a leader in responsible mining and set industry standards by building among the lower carbon intensity projects in the world. She is working to shift perspectives on mining and communicate the importance of decarbonizing metals and minerals.

Lyle Trytten

Strategic Advisor

Mr. Trytten has more than 30 years’ experience in the nickel industry, and was previously General Manager, Sustainability with Sherritt International at their Alberta nickel refinery. His experience at Sherritt also includes research and development, engineering for brownfield and greenfield projects, and major project feasibility studies. Lyle has been personally involved with metallurgical operations on five continents, including the feasibility study for the Ambatovy mine and process plant in Madagascar, and design and commissioning of metallurgical processing facilities in the US & Indonesia. His consulting expertise is widely sought, and Lyle provides input to agencies such as the IEA and NRCan.

Greg Ross, P.Geo.

Project Manager

Mr. Ross has over 19 years of experience in the mineral exploration and resource development industries. He has served in Project and Senior Geologist roles for junior mining companies operating in Western Canada, including almost 14 years in the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE space. Mr. Ross is a Professional Geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (formerly APEGBC) and is a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.

James Edward Beswick, P Eng. FCIM

Director of Government Relations

Mr. Beswick is a registered professional mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in mine safety, environment, permitting and community relations. Ed was previously Director of Environment and Permitting for Hillsborough Resources Limited and has worked with numerous coal, base and precious metal companies. Mr. Beswick is the current past President of the Canadian Institute of Mining Foundation, and recently received the 2022 AMEBC David Barr Award for Excellence in Leadership and Innovation in Mineral Exploration, Health and Safety. Ed was one of the founding members of the North Central CIM Branch.

Lyle Davis, P.Eng. (Alberta) MBA

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Davis is an independent director of the Company. Mr. Davis was a director of Condor Resources Inc., a copper and gold exploration company active in Peru , for 19 years, and President and CEO for 11 years. He previously worked in the corporate finance practices of Ernst & Young, and in a similar capacity at C.M. Oliver. Prior experience includes 11 years with the Vancouver Stock Exchange. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.

Robert Morris

Director

Mr. Morris is a former senior executive with Vale S.A., one of the world’s leading nickel producers, and most recently as Executive Vice President with global accountability for sales and marketing of Vale’s base metals portfolio, including Nickel, Copper, Cobalt and Precious Metals. He was an officer of the company and member of the senior management committee. His knowledge of the rapidly evolving market for nickel and cobalt products is extensive and includes marketing battery materials to battery manufacturers.
