Recent thinking around the nature of the ultramafic intrusion has provided Giga with new directions for exploration, unlocking new potential areas of mineralization. The Company’s current focus and the first step in this re-evaluation is the Attic Zone. The Attic Zone is an area of the Turnagain ultramafic intrusive complex adjacent to the known nickel, cobalt, platinum and palladium resource. It is prospective for copper and platinum-group element mineralization. Systematic geophysical exploration of the zone is ongoing.
In 2025, Giga Metals completed a two-line magnetotelluric (MT) survey over the Attic Zone, the first step in a multi-phase exploration program. The survey mapped the geometry of the ultramafic intrusion along two cross-sections, confirming its up-facing structural orientation and identifying a previously unknown low-resistivity anomaly that warrants further investigation. The results also confirmed that the basal contact and most marginal contacts have not been tested to any meaningful depth.
Based on these findings, a summer 2026 program has been designed to expand MT coverage with three additional lines and to conduct a concurrent HeliSAM electromagnetic (EM) survey. The EM component will target conductive bodies within and at the margins of the intrusion, providing additional vectoring information to prioritize drill targets.
~80% of the Turnagain ultramafic intrusion remains underexplored.

Exploration
While the Turnagain project has been actively explored since the 1950’s, more recent thinking around the nature of the ultramafic intrusion has provided Giga with new directions for exploration, unlocking new potential areas of mineralization. The Company’s current focus and the first step in this reevaluation is the Attic zone, a younger rock system that has a significant copper in-soils footprint as well as evidence of PGE mineralization. Given the size of this zone, Giga has adopted a methodical approach to evaluation, beginning with geophysics with the aim of drilling to determining the potential for this system.
